Fourth Bloomie's from Bloomingdale's to open in New Jersey next month

US department store chain Bloomingdale's has announced the impending opening of its fourth Bloomie’s store.

Located in the Grove Shopping Center in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, the store will open on November 14 and will be the first to feature an all-women's assortment, including ready-to-wear, beauty, accessories, and jewelry.

The first Bloomie’s to open in the New Jersey area, the new store will operate alongside four full-line Bloomingdale stores and three outlet locations in Short Hills, Bergen, Willowbrook, Bridgewater, Princeton, and Jersey Gardens.

"Bloomie's is a perfect example of how our brand continues to evolve with our shoppers' needs and preferences," said Rachel Abeles, SVP of customer and revenue growth at Bloomingdale’s, in a statement.

"This Shrewsbury Bloomie's is a milestone for us; it strengthens our presence in the local NJ area and marks our first women 's-only location. We're excited to bring this curated collection of brands and categories to complement our existing fleet within the New Jersey community, making access easier and more tailored than ever before."

In honor of the new store opening, Bloomie’s will host a weekend full of events and experiences for the Shrewsbury community. Starting off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 14, the store will transform into a winter wonderland with branded activations, exclusive gifts, and festive fun.

In addition, on December 7, shoppers can enjoy a private sip-and-shop with brunch bites, music, and giveaways, followed by an all-day holiday bash featuring a Santa meet-and-greet, treat carts, music, and brand customization opportunities.

The new Bloomie’s store will also feature a range of vendors and convenient services like personal styling, easy returns, alterations, gift wrapping, and a grab-and-go Forty Carrots with popular options like frozen yogurt, salads, and sandwiches.
