Vancouver-based custom apparel brand Indochino and US department store chain Nordstrom are expanding their partnership with the opening of five new Indochino shop-in-shops.
The new openings bring the total number of Indochino retail locations within Nordstrom stores to 33, increasing the made-to-measure brand’s reach to more than 90 percent of US consumers.
The new shop-in-shops opened in Nordstrom’s include locations at Aventura Mall and Boca Raton in Florida; Park Meadows in Lone Tree, Colorado; Woodfield in Schaumburg, Illinois; and Southcenter Mall near Seattle, Washington.
“We are thrilled to bring our made-to-measure experience to these exciting new Nordstrom locations,” said Drew Green, president and chief executive officer of Indochino, in a statement on the expansion. “This expansion reflects the continued success of our collaboration and growing consumer demand for personalized fashion.”
Customers visiting the new locations can now experience a personalised appointment with an Indochino’ Style Guide’, a selection of hundreds of premium fabrics and customisation options, and measurements taken in-store with the finished garment delivered to their doorstep in approximately three weeks. Simple alterations are also available through Nordstrom’s tailoring services.
The partnership, which began in 2021 with 21 shop-in-shops, is part of a wider strategic retail expansion for Indochino. The company, which was founded in 2007 as an online-only brand, has since pivoted to an omnichannel approach, operating close to 60 showrooms and 33 Nordstrom shop-in-shops across North America.
