Mango has successfully opened its 50th store in the United States, as the Spanish fast-fashion retailer continues to push forward with its expansion plan.

The new Mango store, located in Washington Square, Portland, Oregon, is the eighth of approximately 20 new stores that the retailer aims to open this year across the US, with the aim of operating 65 stores in the nation by the end of 2025.

"Reaching this milestone is an important achievement for the entire Mango team and reaffirms our deep commitment to our US client," said Daniel López, Mango's Chief Expansion & Franchise Officer, in a statement. "Opening our 50th company-owned store in the US is a testament to the warm reception of our unique value proposition and to Mango's ambition in the US."

The new store in Portland is the trailer's second store in the city and opened shortly after the first store opened in Pioneer Place earlier this year. Offering Mango's women's line exclusively, the store also showcases Mango's New Med concept, a Mediterranean-inspired retail design featuring warm tones, natural materials, and an architectural aesthetic that reflects the brand's signature freshness.

Mango is set to open a new store in the state of Illinois in the next few months, on North Michigan Avenue, Chicago's main commercial street. The retailer will also strengthen its presence in California with another store opening in Costa Mesa's South Coast Plaza. Both new stores will offer the retailer's women's and men's lines.

These openings mark the next phase of Mango's US growth strategy, launched in 2022 with its Fifth Avenue flagship. By the end of 2025, the brand plans to open 20 additional locations and double its US workforce to over 1,200 employees.
