Seattle-based department store group Nordstrom, Inc. is set to expand the retail presence of its off-price retailer Nordstrom Rack in Florida with the opening of a new location in Estero.

Set to open in Fall 2025, the new Nordstrom Rack will be located in Coconut Point, an outdoor shopping center with more than 110 retail units including Dillard's, Barnes & Noble, and Tommy Bahamas.

"We look forward to being a part of the Estero community and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices," said Gemma Lionello, president of Nordstrom Rack, in a statement. "We're excited to grow our footprint in the Fort Myers market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience."

"As Southwest Florida's premier shopping destination, one of our top priorities is to provide an exceptional shopping experience for both Estero residents and visitors alike," added Stephen Welch, general manager at Coconut Point, in a statement.

"The exciting addition of Nordstrom Rack at our center further elevates our expansive portfolio of offerings, providing our shoppers an even more diverse and rewarding retail experience. We look forward to welcoming Nordstrom Rack later this year and are honored to be a part of their growth in Estero."

In addition to the new store opening in Estero, Nordstrom Rack is also set to open new stores in Coral Springs, Melbourne, and Lakeland come Fall 2025. The new openings come as Nordstrom Rack expands its physical retail footprint and economic impact in Florida, with the chain currently operating six Nordstrom stores and 19 Nordstrom Rack stores across the state.
