Oofos Opens First-Ever Retail Stores, Bringing “Feel the OO” Across the US Credits: Oofos

Active and recovery footwear brand Oofos has opened its first-ever retail stores across the US.

The new store opening and set to open in May and June are at Pentagon City in Arlington, Virginia; the Mall of Georgia in Buford; and the Florida Mall in Orlando, all strategically selected high-traffic sites within pivotal regional markets.

Initially launching online 14 years ago as a direct-to-consumer brand, Oofos has grown steadily over the years, gaining a loyal following through its Amazon store and wholesale network.

The launch of its first permanent retail stores marks a significant step forward for Oofos as the brand broadens its footprint into key US markets. The new store openings build on the momentum of successful pop-up activations, most notably along Boston Marathon’s Boylston Street, and will offer an immersive, in-person introduction to the brand’s recovery-focused, technology-driven footwear.

Drawing from insights gained through its pop-up experiences, Oofos aims to deepen customer engagement while collecting valuable on-the-ground feedback. "We've always believed in building smart, sustainable growth," said Lou Panaccione, Co-Founder and CEO at Oofos in a statement.

"With these new retail locations, we are starting small and being intentional with our strategy, with the goal of complementing our existing DTC and wholesale channels while also offering an additional touch-point to share our mission of helping people feel better."

Selected for their strategic market potential, the new stores serve as experiential extensions of Oofos’ growing digital and wholesale presence. Shoppers can explore the full range of styles while experiencing the brand’s signature Oofoam technology, engineered to absorb impact and ease stress on the body.

The retail expansion also underscores Oofos’s wider mission, championing wellness, driving innovation, and supporting causes like Project Pink, which funds breast cancer research and patient care through every purchase.
