Ruti opens first-ever flagship store in New York City

Women's wear brand Ruti has opened a flagship store in New York City, as the brand expands its retail presence to the East Coast.

The new flagship, located at 1100 Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side, spans 1,250 square feet and offers the brand’s full collection, including women’s ready-to-wear and accessories.

Currently operating five stores across California, the New York City flagship store is said to be Ruti’s most “significant retail step to date,” and features a carefully thought-out layout that is designed to encourage “conversation, discovery, and a sense of community” among shoppers.

The opening of the flagship store is part of Ruti’s ongoing strategic retail expansion plan, with its location selected for the area’s strong sense of community and loyal customer base.

Founded in 2009 by Ruti Zisser, the brand is known for its best-selling loose pant, On The Work Loose Pant. “One of the greatest privileges of my work is getting to make women happy. Knowing that something we’ve designed can help a woman feel more confident never stops being meaningful to me,” said Ruti Zisser, founder & CEO, in a statement.
