The RealReal is set to reopen the doors of its flagship store in San Francisco, as the global marketplace for the resale of luxury goods seeks to strengthen its connection to the city in which it was founded, while showing its support for the revitalization of the city’s downtown area.

The San Francisco flagship, located at 253 Post Street, is set to reopen its doors on February 26, marking The RealReal’s 17th physical retail location across the nation. The 8,100-square-foot, two-story store has undergone a complete renovation and will serve as both a shopping and consignment hub for the marketplace.

The updated flagship store will showcase luxury fashion for women and men, fine jewelry, and watches, with expanded areas in the store now dedicated to one-on-one consignor appointments and private high-value viewings for jewelry, watches, and handbags.

In addition, San Francisco–inspired artwork, locally sourced vintage furniture, and carefully considered architectural details have been added to the interior to reflect the city’s creative identity. The store will also offer coffee from Painted Leopard, a woman-owned specialty roaster known for its single-origin blends and popular pop-ups, on weekends.

“San Francisco is where The RealReal was founded, and reopening our Union Square flagship reflects our optimism and confidence in the city’s long-term vitality,” said Rati Sahi Levesque, President and CEO of The RealReal, in a statement. “This investment strengthens our physical presence in a key market and supports our belief that circular luxury is integral to the future of modern retail.”

Other The RealReal store locations include Dallas, Texas; Miami, Florida; Newport Beach, California; and Brooklyn, New York.
