Uber Technologies has expanded its current app retail offering in the United States to include names like Pacun, as it grows its selection.
From this week onwards, US consumers can order from hundreds of Pacsun, Camping World, and Lush retail locations through the Uber, Uber Eats, and Postmates apps. Launching in time for the upcoming holiday season, the move provides consumers with Uber speed and reliability when purchasing on demand, come Black Friday and further.
Pacsun will offer its curated offering of apparel, accessories, and footwear to Uber shoppers, while Camping World, the country’s main retailer of outdoor, RV, and camping equipment, offers Uber customers new options to shop for outdoor trips. Lush, a handmade and ethical bath and body brand, will now offer doorstep delivery to customers in the US.
“As we expand retail delivery across Uber and Uber Eats, we’re making it easier than ever for customers to discover and shop the brands they love—all in one place—while also demonstrating our ability to support an increasingly diverse range of retail partners,” said Hashim Amin, Head of Retail for North America at Uber, in a statement. “From fashion at Pacsun to outdoor gear at Camping World and self-care favorites at Lush, Uber is becoming a seamless shopping destination for whatever customers need, whenever they need it.
The addition of these retailers sees Uber continue to expand its retail delivery categories, including grocery, sporting goods, beauty, and lifestyle, as it aims to make it easier for consumers to shop nationwide. Since the beginning of the year, Uber has added more than 1,000 new retailers worldwide to its apps, and more than 50,000 retail locations across the US alone.
